Midnight Cobalt combines a deep indigo tone with the distinctive character of selvedge denim. Built in our Slim Straight fit, it delivers a clean, balanced silhouette designed for versatile everyday wear.
One-Wash Selvedge Denim
The denim is supplied one-washed, giving the fabric a more settled feel from the first wear while retaining the texture and character associated with shuttle-loom woven selvedge denim. This is not raw denim.
Slim Straight Fit
Our Slim Straight fit maintains a streamlined profile without an aggressive taper, creating a clean line through the leg while retaining the balanced proportions of a straight-cut jean.
Considered Construction
Built to SELVEDGEX specifications with durability and everyday wear in mind. Cotton pocket bags, carefully selected hardware, reinforced stress points and a premium paper patch complete the construction without unnecessary decoration.

Midnight Cobalt is made in India using carefully selected selvedge denim, with cutting and stitching carried out to SELVEDGEX specifications.

Care Guide+
Wash only when needed. Turn the jeans inside out and wash cold by hand or on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Wash separately or with similar dark colours. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Hang dry in the shade. Denim colour may transfer, particularly during early wear.

WHY I STARTED SELVEDGEX
I wanted selvedge denim that was made in India, cut for how we actually wear jeans, and honest about what it is. Every pair starts with shuttle-loom fabric from Indian mills, gets one wash so it’s comfortable from day one, and is finished to our own standard. No noise, no shortcuts.
